This initiative allows customers to earn BYKO points by authenticating their purchases both in-store and online. Implementation: Following the implementation of the GAMECHANG3R Gift to Wallet solution, BYKO expanded its capabilities by enabling the online sale of gift cards. Additionally, B2B and C2B clients can now apply for credit and monthly billing directly through BYKO, ensuring a seamless transaction process. Companies can log into BYKO’s website, apply for an account, and issue Wallet passes for their employees, which contractors often utilize to make purchases at BYKO’s stores for projects.

Moreover, BYKO successfully offers pre-printed gift cards in-store, which customers can later register to their wallets, alongside the option for customers to purchase gift cards electronically via the Gift to Wallet solution. Businesses wishing

to buy BYKO gift cards for holiday gifting can do so in bulk, with the ability to personalize messages and have them delivered electronically to their employees.

With the Gift to Wallet solution, BYKO has also gained a new marketing channel to push offers and custom messages to their customers using Wallet Push notifications, both in general and location-based, enhancing engagement and driving foot traffic to their stores.

The integration of the loyalty program and the Gift to Wallet Dynamics AX plugin streamlined the rollout, allowing for easy incorporation of these enhancements. Collaborations with Dynamics AX partners M7, who developed the point-collection system and complete integration with Gift to wallet, and Overacast, which optimized the customer interface on BYKO’s website, were essential in implementing these features smoothly.

Outcome: The launch of BYKO Plus has been met with enthusiastic reception, with thousands of customers signing up within the first day. This initiative has not only deepened BYKO’s engagement with its customers but has also positioned the brand as a leader in the Icelandic hardware retail space.
